    Muftī Zubair (ḥafīzahullāh)

    Born and raised in England. He had a strong inclination towards Islāmic learning from a young age. This led Muftī Zubair to pursue the classic Islāmic sciences having formally enrolled at one of England’s prestigious Muslim seminaries in 1999. Here he underwent a rigorous program of study for six years’ graduating in 2005. His intensive study  of religious Islāmic sciences, under classically trained and qualified scholars, included Arabic language and literature, Qurʾānic tafsīr (exegesis), ḥadīth, aqīdah (Islāmic belief) and fiqh (jurisprudence). 

    After having graduated from the Ālimiyyāh programme and gaining ijāzah in all the main books of Ḥadtīth, including saḥīḥ Muslim & Bukhārī. He then continued his studies for another year by enrolling on the Ifta program, specializing in researching and answering legal questions. He subsequently graduated from the Ifta programme  in 2006, qualifying as a Muftī. 

    Since graduation, for almost two decades Muftī Zubair has been continuously engaged in teaching at various Islāmic educational seminaries as well as working on different written endeavors. 

    He serves as an advisor to Masjid Al-Ihsān and the wider charity.
